Eirtakon Registration

      Pre-registration for Eirtakon 2013 is now open! Weekend passes can be purchased from our Eventbrite page from the form below. All pre-registered weekend passes come with a free Eirtakon convention t-shirt!

      If you are in possession of a promotional code, please be sure to enter it to unlock the relevant discount before completing your transaction, as we cannot refund the difference.

      If you do not wish to pre-register, you may still purchase day and weekend passes at the door. Please see below for at the door admission prices.

      Admission Prices

      All passes may be purchased and collected at the front desk. Each pass admits one person only, and are non-transferrable.

      Friday Pass€5

      Grants admission to the convention for Friday night only.

      Day Pass€20

      Grants admission to the convention for either Saturday or Sunday.
      If you purchase a Day Pass on Saturday and subsequently choose to attend Sunday, you may upgrade to a Weekend Pass for €15.

      Weekend Pass€35

      Grants admission to the convention for all three days - Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
      Weekend Passes may be purchased and/or collected at the front desk starting on Friday afternoon.

      Press Registration

      Eirtakon is happy to offer press passes to qualified members of the media who wish to attend to cover the convention for their medium. All applicants must pass a screening process. This process will be based on any information with regards to their planned coverage of Eirtakon, any examples of previous coverage of Eirtakon or other events of a similar nature, and any other information that we may request.

      Press passes grant representatives access to:

      • the entire convention weekend
      • the convention centre during set-up time on Friday and close-down time on Sunday
      • press-only rooms, including rooms suitable for interviewing
      • a business centre, with fax, photocopier and other office equipment
      • schedule private interviews with Eirtakon guests, via our Guest Liaison
      • schedule private interviews with the Eirtakon committee directly with the relevant members

      Photographer Registration

      If you are a photographer looking to increase your portfolio, Eirtakon is pleased to offer you the opportunity to become an official Eirtakon photographer for the convention weekend! With Eirtakon expanding and becoming bigger than ever, there's even more events and cosplayers that want to be immortalised of film, and we need your help to make that happen!

      Official photographers are offered a range of benefits, similar to those offered to our volunteers:

      • free entry to the entire convention weekend
      • complimentary breakfast, sandwiches and other snacks
      • an exclusive Eirtakon t-shirt
      • full commercial use (except for advertising purposes) of any convention photographs you take

      In exchange, all we ask is that you supply us with a high-resolution copy of all photographs you take over the course of the convention weekend, so that we may use them for promotional purposes. Any of your photographs we use will be attributed to you, and we are happy for you to place a non-obtrusive watermark on all photographs.
