Eirtakon and Nom-Con are delighted to announce a one-day anime event in Dublin, with date, venue and price confirmed.
Anime Dublin will take place on Saturday, April 14th in the Central Hotel on Exchequer Street in Dublin with an entry fee of just €5. Doors open at 10.30am and there will be a limited number of tickets available, so make sure to arrive early.
For this amazingly low price, attendees will have access to all their favourite events throughout the day, such as panels, screenings and gaming tournaments. There will also be an origami workshop and a very special Easter-themed cosplay competition, so make sure you bring your bunny ears! For attendees over 18, there will be a pub quiz and late-night DJ, not forgetting an exclusive to Ireland film premiere.
This one day event is the result of a collaboration the likes of which has never been seen before, Nom-Con and Eirtakon. "Working with the Nom-Con committee these last few weeks has been very exciting", said Eirtakon 2012 director Shannan Walsh, "This is a great opportunity for both conventions to collaborate and learn from each other".
Over the coming weeks the details of the schedule will be filled in, including times for
competitions, screening times and much more!
