I've been hearing a lot about these things, but the bit that really pisses me off is that they claim that the processors are "8 core", "6 core", and "4 core", when in reality they're just quad-core, tri-core and dual-core with some very ingenious threading to make them work better.
The main thing is that this shows that the benchmarks are only on the level of the current i7-2600K.

Personally, I'm waiting to see a benchmark comparison between these Bulldozers and the upcoming LGA 2011 i7-3820. The results of that will probably decide for me what I'm going to upgrade to next.
Although I'm really hoping for an i7-3930K :D
