The Eirtakon committee is proud to announce that none other than Richard Epcar the voice actor, director and writer who has worked on over 1000 projects, along with Ellyn Stern, actress and director will be the guests of honour at this year’s convention.

Richard has voiced over 300 characters in games, TV shows and anime, including Batou in Ghost in the Shell, Raiden in Mortal Kombat and Skywarp in Transformers. He has also worked on other favourites such as Skyrim, Naruto, Kingdom Hearts, Bleach. When not voicing anime, Richard works on the big screen, having done voice work in films such as Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Ellyn Stern is a classically trained actress, who is widely known for her voice work and the wide range of characters she has played. She is best known for her roles in Bleach, Robotech, Mar, Mobile Suit Gundam and Digimon. Most recently, Ellyn has appeared in the live-action TV series Milk and Honey, in which she plays a top agent in a Hollywood agency.
"We’re proud to have Richard and Ellyn over for Eirtakon 2012. They are incredibly talented individuals and we can’t wait to bring them to The Helix to help us celebrate anime and manga in Ireland," said Shannan Walsh, Eirtakon 2012’s Convention Director. "This year is shaping up to be the biggest yet and to have Richard and Ellyn appearing will be really something special. Bring on November!"
