Hey there guys,

Is anyone on these forums going to Otakon this year?

T'would be awesome to get a group of Irish cosplayers/con-goers to invate the massive con ( not realistic but shhhhh :eng101: )

So yeah, Otakon anyone? or any major/american cons planned for this year?

Otakon is so big that there's usually 2/3 things happening at the one time that you want to check out, so you really have to sit down for half an hour with a pen and paper and write down what you definitely want to see. Otherwise you'll just walk around aimlessely not really sure what to do :D Worked ok, 'cos there's a really surreal atmosphere at Otakon, but we did miss out on a lot.

But walking around aimlessly lets you see alll of the aweosme cosplayers that are there xD

I may go a different year when I graduate and have money, is expensive enough getting to Dublin and staying the night. Plus the field trip to India last year was not cheap in the slightest until we actually got there.

I myself would very much like the idea of attending otakon this year . It would also be an excuse to visit America too (which I have never done so) and there are people I know and have wanted to meet that attend it . Money would not so much be the issue but rather getting people to actually go with me to it.
