Well it's about time someone posted a thread about it :D

So opinions of it?

Levels, server, race all that good stuff XD

I'm a lvl sixty night elf druid mainly feral, but had to stop due to broken laptop.

So yeah, have any of you play/played WoW? post experiences and all that good stuff.

Sorry, but I'm not such a big fan of it. Too many people, too much grinding, and generally just too much completely.

Then again I play EVE, so I can't say much...

Love the story line, the humor, design, and previous warcraft games but... I picked LOTRO over WoW cause of the lifetime account. =/

Now if they came out with a Starcraft MMORPG I'd be all over that ;D

After getting three characters to 80 and cleared pretty much all current raid content, I finally gave up on the pile of shit wow has become.

Once, it was a good game. It has since degenerated into a festering pile of fecal matter that will do anything to please the casuals and/or make a quick buck.

I hate you Blizz-Activision.

I've had a few characters and I generally like WoW, but Keith won't pay for my game cards so I haven't played in over a year, maybe 2.

I just wish there were more things you could do by yourself, as I don't like groups. They yell at you if your not fast when casting, they run off and leave you to fend for yourself, they're always wanting buffs when they're already buffed. Just annoying really.

I installed the try-for-free dealy, played for about 30 minutes, got quite bored, and uninstalled it.

It does. But you only ever have to do it once. And judging by some of the spelling in the /newbie chat-pane, some people have cheated.

People on it suck..... Either they hate everything, or its impossible to hold a conversation with them

i loved Warhammer so much...... but I had no way to update my subscription.....
I'll play WoW again when cataclysm comes out

Apparently there is a rather expansive backstory to absolutely everything /sarcasm.

The books and lore are possibly the most entertaining thing left in the franchise.

Lol at mining4fish ref. I played Wow for a year up till the end of last year, problem was it consumed way too much of my time, would like to have had the willpower to keep playing it but just play it less often but alas it was not ment to be. Had some epic times though, it has the potential to be a great game if one can control their hunger for more xp, or more raids, pvp kills whatever it is they like doing.

Ul need to get to 80 before cata XD lol its gonna be a pain in the ass. Most mobs near main citys will be lvl 80-85

Havent played since the 2nd week of Cata Beta. Soo over 6 months now.

Will play in cata for a while. Most likely going to be playing on The Maelstrom. Got an 80 Hunter, DK, Warlock and a Priest.

Most likely going to roll with the Lock/Priest. Demo/Disc are going to be great fun again.
