Well looks like it may be delayed now, Philip K. Dick's daughter is sueing them for breech of indelucutal property rights.

Shame that referance was the only thing i found cool about it.

That's never going to wash, PKD never copyrighted the Nexus 6 thing, and most people aren't gonna recognise the connection.

Still, I look forward to the legal laughs.

Its the implication of involvement she seems to have issue with. Its never going to work in the end but could well delay the release if she applies for an injunction barring sale before a hearing.

Well, there's a further connection in that the Google OS is called Android, and the robots in Blade Runner/DADES were called androids. So Google were pretty blatantly stealing from PKD, but nothing's copyrighted ;_;

True, but there's an obvious connection when they call the OS Android, and the phone Nexus One. That's more then unintentional. Not that it matters in a courtroom :P

I can see why you'd think that though, I had a Motorola V550 a few years ago, and you're right, it was shit, but I think the Milestone looks like a damn good phone, judging by the videos and reviews I've seen, and I definitely want it for my next phone.
