I'm sure you lot like to play puzzle video games, it's addictive anyway :awesome:
But it's good to know what puzzle video games have you played, does not have to be current, it can be years back during your childhood :)
Currently I like to play Echochrome on PS3. It's originally done for PSP, but now it has PS3 format for that game, and can be bought from PSN, or download for free demo from the same place.

Anyway, I am hooked to that puzzle game once I downloaded its free demo! The world of echochrome is functioned by these 5 laws of perspective, to create an illusion for making new paths for the 'mannequin' to obtain 'shadow points' (black figures, which are checkpoints too).
Here's the clip from the game:

Echochrome also has beautifully-composed quartet tracks to increase ambience within the gameplay! Just brilliant.
This is another puzzle video game I adored, it was only released in Japan, for Playstation, around late 90s, I think. It's called Intelligent Qube (pronounced as 'Cube'). It was pretty much about 'bombing' the cubes with tactics and swift thinking, trying not to bomb the black cubes, or else the player will lose each surface grid of cubes if bomb ONE black cube >.< It was purely tense, and the scoring points are known as IQ--- sadly they are not as same as the IQ Intelligent Quotient ones xDDD I remembered I managed to get 240 IQ(Qube) points for stopping at second-final stage, my IQ(Quotient) wasn't that glamourous back then xDD

Finally, Tetris is always my puzzle video game favourite of all time! :awesome:

i know it seems redundant and obvioius someone would say it but portal xD Not just for the puzzles, i like the dark humour the style and just the general mucking about you can do in it,endless lols to be had. Other then that off the top of my head i can't think of one.
since puzzle fighter was more of a battle tetris, none the less LeiLei ftw!

Braid.
It's pretty good. And has some deep contexts in it too... and makes even better sense when you look up those references after you've played the game.

The last level of Braid was amazing when you realized what was going on.

Srsly, i love puzzle games like Lumines, Tetris or Bust a Move.

You mentioned Bust A Move! :awesome: That's one of my favourite Playstation games back in the years! Although it's more like a dance game, but it's fun :D

Its called Lumines: Supernova
The Rub-A-Duck i have as well, but i actually never played it.
I bought it for a friend.
Lumines will drive you mental, not just crazy.
When i started playing Lumines, i was even dreaming about it and no, i never cracked a hi-score in my dream.... It was more of a nightmare, because i kept losing and messing up...
Thats the worst side effect of Lumines, because once you are in, you cant get out.
Even lost my save game about 2 months ago due to a saving error and i unlocked everything again.

It's strange no one's mentioned PROFESSOR LAYTON! Sure it's more conventional riddles and other things but it still counts...
The games are also well designed, animated and the plots are just crazy.

Believe me, Super Rub A Dub is worth the play :D That game has a free demo, so download anytime you want :)
I've seen few Lumines: Supernova gameplay clips on Youtube and they were fascinating :nyoron: It's like tetris, but what makes this game different is that any combo must sound good to gain impressive scores! I'm sure I'll get hooked once I play this game :) Ouch, sorry about the save loss >.<

I have Rub a Dub ;)
I simply never bothered with playing^^
The save game is not so bad. i already have everything back and managed to advance even further, but for Lumines i give you one advice.
Dont check the hi score lists online. You will cry, because that is madness.
I managed barely to get 210points in the 180seconds time attack and i saw online score of 300+ on that list....

How I hate knowing hi scores >.< I won't bother about the scores, but your advice is still worth the gold to me b(^_^).
I must download Lumines as soon as possible!
