Have any of you heard of Danny Choo? (http://www.dannychoo.com/) I follow his blog and find him interesting. He does blogs on cosplay, anime, manga in Japan and elsewhere. He also blogs about Japanese culture which is interesting. He is currently doing a show called, Culture Japan which looks good. He apparently makes people's dreams come true. :downs: He is also know as the Tokyo Stormtrooper. (http://klik.tv/videos/view/4b0a36b9-c1ec-4edb-80d3-620dac110364)
I love his dollfie photography, he has pretty dolls. His other "otaku" site figure.fm (http://www.figure.fm/) is quite good too. Many people there show their dolls and figure collections.
I do like this doll of his. Well minus the handcuffs.;)

Yeah that is very true.:-P I understand that he can freak out people but I enjoy some of the strange stuff. His blog about those kirigumi cosplayers doing a cafe was kinda interesting.
Jayse I have to say that his Saber dolfie is very cute.

Reading this cracked me up because I remembered the review he did on some Tenga products. That was hillarious.
I used to read his blog quite a lot then I got creeped out. Its pretty hard to creep me out as some of you know.

The dolls are beautiful. I'd love to have a load of them. I was thinking of making a thread on traditional and modern Japanese sub culture. It's a ....different world really. They say it's the closest thing to living on an alien planet.

I love reading Danny Choo's blogs, it is amusing! The 'high school' blog entry was really funny xDD I know he's a total otaku, and I usually don't like otakus, but he's alright, I suppose xD
And I still admire his pics from Twitter Dolfie 23 Party ^^

I'm on the same boat here, It's a bit overkill sometimes. Helpful for those looking for information on Foreign-Japanese life mind you (even if it's a successful and rich one).

Really? I wonder or is the media just portraying Japan as 'weird' when it is not. You can go there and be like oh my this place so normal. Yeah their sub culture is fascinating.
I enjoyed the high school blog too and found it amusing when he kept saying, "see it is so like anime." Just don't go to Japan expecting everything to be like anime. ;-p
