Hi all, I have just joined these forums and wish to say a big Hi to the community here before my first post...so "Hi all". OK straight to business then, I am new to cosplay though I have had along had an interest and dident even realise until quite recently there was a small but growing number of followers here. I would like to start work on a costume(Mass effect Cmdr Shepards armor) and have being looking to get my hands on a pvc foam called Sintra. Has anyone here used it, bought it and can someone advise me on where I might get some. Hours of googling and I cant find an international shipper to Ireland:frown:. Suggestions would be much appreciated! Cheers!

I personally have never heard of Sintra but you could always use Lionboard. Comes in square sheets and is just like a stiff foam. Ive had experience with it. Mostly positive. Goes well if you are going to glue something like Pleather onto it.

Thanks for the info, is there a reputable supplier of the foam board that I could look up, or somewhere here in Ireland that I can get my hands on it. Cheers

At least with Shepard you only need to worry about the costume, as Commander Shepard looks like everyone.
