Anywho I recently set up this little webcomic:

Id love if ye guys would check it out. Its sorta nerdy so hopefully some folk on this forum will like it. I'll be updating it regularly so if you do like it, check back every now and then, tell your friends etc.

They are nerdy and funny, I'll give them that.
However..
Criticism lies within.
It's very very very close to xkcd. Close enough to be seen as plagarism, to be honest. Even the typeface for the lettering closely resembles xkcd. At first glance, I thought it *was* xkcd. You might be much better off trying a different art style.

The jokes are fine, nerdy comics abound on the internets, and people always like to see another one.

Yeah I can see where your coming from, but the lettering is totally different if you ask me.

I went with the same stickfigure design cos its the easiest thing to draw and I'm not that artistic, and apart from changing the character design I can't think how else to make it look less like xkcd. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I spent a while thinking about how to be constructive. But in the end I didn't have anything to add.

Your comic looks like xkcd. I mean exactly like xkcd.

With comics, the look is important. The artistic style as much as the writing identifies the comic. Pretty much every comic out there is to a large degree identified by the art style, xkcd included.

Right now, your comic looks exactly like xkcd. Whatever about the writing, you should try to make the art more unique. It will help your comic stand out on its own.

I thought they were pretty funny. A lot like xkcd alright. Maybe combine your efforts with a friend that's more into art. Content wise, it seemed (especially with Mindfuck) that you're doing them based on day to day things, which i like.

The comic's alright, some are crude, but hey, that's the point of your comic theme, so I can't argue with that xD
