This is a really cool music vid from one of my favourite bands, One-Eyed Doll

I'd definately agree that the band has an 'anime style', especially looking at Kimberly

I would also LOVE to see them play in the UK sometime XD

<3 OED !!!

I'd say it's more Tim Burton style than anime style.

That's what I was thinking too.

Not even close to my taste, but she does have a pretty nice voice. :)

:colbert: Meh. Don't think it's 'anime-ly'. Boring song too ¬_¬

I must say the singer has amazing costume and make up. I love the black and white make up and her black and white costume. She reminds me more of Marylin Manson Goth doll then anime though as goth is not an anime stereotype.

You should check out other bands that are similar in the whole goth doll look like Jack off Jill.

The singer Jesica Fedora kinda reminds me of a moe anime chic if there was a gothic anime character. I also came across another goth doll singer called Autumn something. Someone was cosplaying as her on cosplay.com

I like it alot, her style is really interesting :'D

More close to Lolita, though her skirt could be more puffy~

I'll have to check out more of their songs, but I'm really liking them thus far!
thanks for the awesome link :'D

Switchblade Symphony had this goth ragdoll kind of aesthetic.

I think bands like them were a bit of an influence on some of the more quirky lolita style things you see.

Proper goths actually seem to bleach their hair as often as they dye it black...

Emilie Autumn. She's pretty but she's meant to be a humongous bitch. Her forums are a bit of a nightmare and she shit-talks her fans a lot.

She's mostly just playing off the Switchblade Symphony thing anyway.

I love how she looks in that video. I always thought Tina Root from SS looks kind of like her actually, but she has more of a kinderwhore style. Makes me remember how much I want a gothy girlfriend, lol. Shame there are next to none and the few left are kind of stuck up.

Marilyn Manson isn't really goth, he even calls his music "shock rock" rather than goth. It's kind of close visually. The problem is the "goth" look has been adopted as the general rock look as well so it's hard to tell. Goth is pretty broad but generally goth has it's roots in music like the Cure and Joy Division. It tends to be pretty arty and was largely to precursor to 90s alternaive rock like the Smashing Pumpkins.

I actually don't know that many goth bands with overly gothy looking female members, will have to rectify that, lol.

Ones I can think of are Eva O & Patricia Morrison. One of my favourite singers is from a goth band but doesn't really look goth.

Monica Richards has a really awesome kind of style, though it's not typically "goth".

Lisa Feuer from Black tape for a Blue Girl was pretty damn goth looking.

Any more gothy women people want to post? lol.
