RPGs and LARPs

Role-playing games are not a new thing - they've been around since the 70's - but they are a new attraction at Eirtakon! Fancy getting stuck into a good game with a small group of people where you can work together with your character to solve whatever dastardly scheme your Games Master has planned out for you? We've got you covered! LARPs are a fair bit more hands-on than your standard RPG, with more emphasis on physically becoming your character rather than just imagining them!

RPG/LARP Submissions
If you are interested in running an RPG or a LARP at Eirtakon, please e-mail tradgames(at)eirtakon.com; or select "Traditional/Tabletop Games" on our <a href="http://eirtakon.com/forums/sendmessage.php"

Hey all, you remember the film crew who were at Eirtakon 2012 recording the weekend's shenanigans for the production of a documentary? We're happy to announce that Blasters Media have finally premièred their production titled "Out of Character", and is now viewable online!

Out of Character speaks to members of the Irish cosplay community to discuss where it started, how people perceive cosplay in Ireland, how people got into cosplaying, and people's takes on the cosplay scene. The documentary includes our own partners in crime Amy and Fiona; along with "Iron Man" Cian,
