Will I be photographed or recorded if I attend?

Several dedicated members of the Eirtakon staff, as well as authorized members of the press will be taking general photos over the weekend for media and other promotional purposes. However, no specific photos will be taken of anyone without their permission.

I am a blogger/journalist/reporter, can I come to cover the convention?

Yes, we are happy to offer Press passes to qualified members of the media who wish to attend to cover the convention for their medium.

I am an amateur photographer, can I take photos during the weekend?

Yes, you may take photos of the convention over the weekend - provided that they are for your personal collection or portfolio, or that they are for non-commercial use. If you wish to take photos of the convention for commercial use, we request that you apply to become an official Eirtakon photographer via our Photographer Registration page.

We would appreciate it if after the convention, you could send us a link to an album of your work taken over the weekend.

I am a professional photographer, can I come to take photos over the weekend?

Yes, we are happy to offer Press passes to professional photographers who wish to attend to take photos of the convention over the weekend. By attending the convention as a professional photographer, you will be treated as a member of volunteer staff with regards to benefits and convention centre access. Please see our Press Passes page for more information with regards to deadlines, and other conditions.

Please note that studio photography and photoshoots are handled in-house by our own photographers, as such we can not offer studio space to anyone else.
