Getting to Dublin City University couldn't be easier - it's beside a motorway just outside Dublin city centre and is seviced by numerous buses. Once you're at the main entrance to Dublin City University, The Hub is just a two minute walk down to the end of the entrance road and to your left, where you'll see special Eirtakon 2008 signs pointing you to The Hub's entrance.

The university is within easy access of a number of major routes, so travelling by car or by bus should be easy if you follow the directions below.

By car:
From the airport direction, going south:
Follow the M1, direction city centre, and turn right at Whitehall Church into Collins Avenue. DCU is on the left hand side.

From the city centre direction, going north:
Follow the airport road which takes you through Drumcondra and turn left at the Whitehall/Collins Avenue junction. DCU is on the left.

It is also possible to drive through Phibsborough towards Glasnevin, turning into the Ballymun Road. DCU is on the right hand side of the dual carriageway. Please note you will need to drive further on to the Collins Avenue/Ballymun Road junction and turn right to access the multistory carpark.

From outside Dublin, going east:
From south east (N11) use the Eastlink onto the East Wall Road, then Clonliffe Road and finally onto Drumcondra Road. Turn left at the Whitehall/Collins Road junction and DCU is on the left.

From other directions around the country:
Use the M50 (including Westlink if applicable). Come off the M50 at the Ballymun exit (Junction 4) and drive through Ballymun, turning left at the Collins Avenue/Ballymun Road crossroads. DCU and the multi-story carpark is on the right on Collins Avenue.

By bus:
While DCU is well serviced by a multitude of bus routes, we recommend getting either the 11, 11A, 11B, 13A, 19A or 16A as they leave you closest to Dublin City University.

These bus routes pass through the city centre at the following locations (N = Northbound, S = Southbound):
