World Class Traders Heading to Eirtakon

September 4th 2007, Dublin Ireland: Eirtakon, the Republic of Ireland's premier anime event, has announced two more traders who will be bringing an extensive collection of clothes and goods for sale to the convention.

First up we have Magnifique Lolita, one of the world's finest Lolita clothing companies. Magnifique Lolita is based in Germany and is making its first trip to Eirtakon. Magnifique Lolita has a varied range of unique high quality Gothic and Lolita clothing and accessories which are sold both through their multi-language website and at various shows and conventions around Europe. This unique company's presence at Eirtakon will be a treat for all Irish Gothic and Lolita fans, given the rarity of similar items in Irish stores. More information can be found here.

Our second announcement is for Cartoon Passion, making a return visit following a successful stand at the first Eirtakon 2005. Cartoon Passion carries and varied range of all types of anime and manga merchandise and toys including posters, key rings, action figures, statues, plush figures, bags and a large assortment of Japanese music. CP's welcome return to Eirtakon means that, no matter your taste in merchandise or titles, there will be something for you at the trade stands! More information can be found here.

We are currently in negotiations with a number of other traders, so expect more announcements in the near future.

About Eirtakon
Eirtakon is the Republic of Ireland's number one anime event and is currently in its third year. Following on from the unexpected success of the first Eirtakon, held in November 2005, the second event was held in February 2007 and was similarly successful, receiving widespread praise and acclaim throughout anime circles in Ireland and abroad.

Eirtakon 07 MK II looks to be the biggest yet with more showings, more guest speakers, more surprise events and more traders. It will again take place in The Hub in Dublin City University, one of the most up-to-date event facilities in Ireland, and will be happening on the weekend of November 23rd-25th.

Further announcements as to pricing and the anime showing schedule are expected in the coming weeks.
